Russian President Vladmir Putin has lowered the threshold for his country's use of nuclear weapons days after the United States allowed Ukrain to launch American missiles inside Russia.
Sources from NBC news says that Putin has announced a new doctrine that states that Moscow could use nuclear weapons if attacked by a nonnuclear country that has support of a nuclear country. Afterwards, an attack was launched by Ukraine on Russian territory that which involved the usage of missiles. These missiles were successfully destoyed by Russian defences but the shrapnel did land on Russian teritory creating a fire, though no causulties occured
The changes to Russia's nuclear doctrine mark the most significant saber-rattling yet by the Kremlin, which has consistently warned about possible nuclear war throughout the now 1,000 days since its full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
